Putting them in the sink or a bowl of water with some vinegar really helps to remove a lot of that wax and other ick on them. I can’t handle the idea of eating apples without doing that now, knowing how much you can scrape off just with a finger-nail.

Did I mention that despite terrible dietary choices (omg, I broke my pescetarian habit for 10 days!), I actually LOST weight while we were in England.

May 21: 297 

18lbs. down. I like that. I’ll take it.

By the end of June, I’d like to see that even lower. But I’m going slowly, I’m also trying to build up muscle at the same time annnnd…yeah, I’ll get there!

BOOM! Back down to 178. Started at 220 ish so this is a big benchmark for my fat husky ass. This means I will be fighting at a different weight class in my next judo tournament.
